wondering which class is right for you?
Beginner/General: courses start from the beginning. Classes begin focusing on technique and basic rhythm structure. No experience is necessary. Classes are also suitable for students who have been drumming for some time and wish to consolidate their learning. Students may find this level suitable for a year or more.
Intermediate: it is recommended that intermediate level students own their own drum and are developing a weekly practice routine. Students at this level are beginning to develop good stong stroke definition (bass, tone & slap) and can respond to 4/4 and 6/8 calls with confidence. It is also assumed that students have not only undertaken a minimum of 3 beginner/general courses but that they have retained and memorised at least 2 or 3 complete rhythms (multiple djembe parts, calls & breaks). If you are unsure whether or not this class is right for you, ask Simone.
fees
All fees include complimentary drum hire. Please advise us when booking if you need us to provide a drum for you. Course fees are payable in full at or before the first class of the term. Bookings essential. Casual attendance by prior arrangement.
Melbourne beginner/general level
$140 / 8 weeks OR $20/week for casual attendance
Melbourne intermediate level
$190/ 8 weeks OR $25/week for casual attendance
Newham classes
Drumming OR Singing: $130/ 8 weeks OR $20/week for casual attendance
Drumming AND Singing $210/ 8 weeks OR $35/week for casual attendance
NB: there are no refunds for course payments however credit towards future courses may be arranged.

To book your place contact us via email or phone 0431 434 538 and then make your payment either by EFT, cash/cheque or credit card (2% surcharge) before the commencement of the first class. Let us know your preferred payment method upon booking.
