Afö is a traditionally based West African drumming ensemble performing high energy rhythms
from the region of Guinea in West Africa. Afö draws on the traditional music of the Malinke
people and in particular rhythms taught by the highly renowned exponent of the tradition,
Mamady Keita.
Afö captures the essence of this undeniably powerful and engaging traditional music and present an explosive and mesmerising performance.

The Drummergirl Ensemble
The Drummergirl Ensemble present traditional West African music for any corporate, community or private event or celebration. Performances vary from gentle traditional pieces with traditional stringed instruments (kora) and balafon (traditional West Africian xylophone) to a showcase of up to ten drummers and dancers.
