Woolgoolga - for women

WEEKLY* classes FRIDAYS from 5:30-6:30pm, $30

* No class on the 21st & 28th August, also the 11th September

Class sizes vary each week but there is always a supportive and welcoming group of women ready to drum!! All levels welcome - no prior rhythmic experience needed. Drums available to use, let Simone know when booking.

Tuesdays 6pm - 7pm, $30/week

No classes 25th August & 1st September
If you have never drummed before but would like to try, these are for you! If you have been to classes before, we will pick up where you left off. If you have experience under your belt - I can’t wait to drum with you!!

The venue is adjacent to / behind Coles - drive through the main gates, do a little lap of the carpark and head down into the road that runs along the back of the Coles building. Park at the front of the main building and you will see/hear us. See attached map for details.

VALLA - all welcome

These monthly sessions are open all - whether you have been playing for years or would like to try your first class.

All welcome - these are open workshops suitable for all levels: from those who have never touched a drum to seasoned players. Let Simone know if you need a drum to be provided for you (at no extra cost). BYO lunch.

✨ Join Simone for a journey through the traditional Malinké rhythms of Guinea, West Africa. Drawing on her 20+years of playing and teaching experience, Simone weaves traditional compositions into rhythmic journeys suitable for all levels. Her teaching style is joyful and masterful - honouring the tradition and tailoring it to a contemporary audience.

All drummergirl classes are taught by Simone and unless specified cater to all levels, including those who have never played before. Simone will make sure everyone gets what they need from each session.

Payment for classes can be made in class via cash or card, or via our bookings page. Don’t have your own drum? No problem, let Simone know you need one when booking.
