✨ Join Simone for a journey through the traditional Malinké rhythms of Guinea, West Africa. Drawing on her 20+years of playing and teaching experience, Simone weaves traditional compositions into rhythmic journeys suitable for all levels. Her teaching style is joyful and masterful - honouring the tradition and tailoring it to a contemporary audience.

Underpinning the music is Simone’s passion for connecting through drumming - to self, to others, and beyond. We all know how good it feels to be in rhythm!!

Come for the day or join us for the morning session.

All drummergirl classes are taught by Simone and unless specified cater to all levels, including those who have never played before. Simone will make sure everyone gets what they need from each session.

Please note our women-focused events intend an inclusive definition encompassing all those who identify as women.

Payment for classes can be made in class via cash or card, or via our bookings page. Don’t have your own drum? No problem, let Simone know you need one when booking.
